About this artwork
A blurred figure emerges from a haze of grays and muted tones. This is Arrest No 674 2, a piece that challenges perception and invites closer inspection. The indistinct edges and smudged details create an air of mystery, drawing the viewer into a contemplative state. Richter's signature technique of smudging and blending is evident here, with soft transitions between shades of gray, black, and white. The central figure, though indistinct, commands attention, surrounded by an atmosphere of quiet intensity. The background, a mix of soft grays and whites, adds depth and complexity to the scene. This print fits seamlessly into modern, minimalist spaces. It complements monochromatic decor and adds depth to any room.Questions about Arrest No 674 2
