About this artwork
A figure reclines in a serene landscape, arms folded behind its head. At Rest by Wassily Kandinsky is a moment of calm captured in bold lines and soft curves. The figure rests on a bed of ochre, surrounded by a cobalt sky dotted with floating shapes that drift like clouds.
The background hums with geometric forms that seem to pulse gently, as if breathing. Crosshatching and delicate lines create a sense of depth, while the interplay of warm and cool hues adds balance. The composition is both simple and complex, inviting contemplation.
This print fits seamlessly into a bedroom or reading nook, where its tranquil energy can be fully appreciated.
