About this artwork
A sunlit field of ochre and gold opens across the canvas. August Deep is a celebration of summer, where colors blend seamlessly into one another, creating a sense of warmth and depth. The hues of yellow, orange, and green are layered with a mastery that only Frankenthaler could achieve. The artwork is a symphony of soft edges and subtle transitions. Patches of pale blue peek through the dominant warm tones, adding a cool contrast that enhances the overall harmony. The composition is balanced yet dynamic, with each color playing its part in the visual melody. The texture of the paint is visible, adding a tactile dimension to the piece. This poster brings a sense of calm and warmth to any space. It's well-suited for a living room or a study, where its soothing colors can be appreciated.Questions about August Deep
