About this artwork
A vertical cascade of black forms dominates the canvas in Bas. This 1974 piece by Luis Feito commands attention with its stark contrast and rhythmic arrangement, creating a sense of movement and energy.
The artwork features a series of black shapes, each varying in size and form, set against a white background. The forms appear to float, creating a dynamic interplay between the positive and negative spaces. The simplicity of the color palette enhances the complexity of the shapes, inviting closer inspection.
Bas would be a compelling focal point in a modern living room or a minimalist office space.
