About this artwork
A bird perches lightly on a branch, wings folded neatly at its sides. This is Bird In The Spring, a delicate study of nature's quiet moments. The bird, small and unassuming, becomes the focal point of this serene composition.
The background is a soft, almost ethereal wash of pale hues, suggesting the gentle arrival of spring. Pousette-Dart's brushstrokes are loose and expressive, capturing the fleeting essence of the season. The branch, thin and delicate, stretches across the composition, providing a stark contrast to the softness of the bird and the background.
This poster brings a sense of calm and tranquility to any space, making it an ideal addition to a cozy reading nook or a serene bedroom.
