About this artwork
A bold blue rectangle anchors this composition. Black Over Blue by Ellsworth Kelly is a study in contrast and balance, where simplicity speaks volumes. The deep blue ground supports a floating black form, creating a push-pull dynamic. Clean edges and flat color define Kelly’s signature style. No texture, no shading, just pure interaction between shape and space. This poster thrives in modern spaces with clean lines and open walls. It commands attention without clutter.Questions about Black Over Blue
