About this artwork
A slender bridge arcs over a calm body of water. In Brice Marden's Bridge Study, the structure is delicate, almost weightless, as if suspended in mid-air. The water below mirrors the bridge's gentle curve, creating a harmonious balance between the two elements. The artwork is rendered in a muted palette of soft grays and blues, with subtle hints of ochre and umber. The brushstrokes are loose and expressive, capturing the essence of the scene rather than its details. The overall effect is one of tranquility and contemplation, as if inviting the viewer to pause and reflect. This poster would be well-suited to a quiet corner of a living room or study, where its serene presence can be fully appreciated.Questions about Bridge Study
