About this artwork
Two vertical forms anchor this composition, their edges softened by the raw texture of the surface. Burnt Umber and Ultramarine by Yun Hyong-keun is a study in balance, where simplicity meets depth. The left panel, a field of burnt umber, grounds the piece with its earthy warmth. Opposite it, a band of ultramarine rises, its deep blue hue offering a quiet contrast. The unpolished canvas peeks through, adding a layer of complexity to the seemingly straightforward forms. This poster suits spaces where calm prevails, like a reading nook or a minimalist study.Questions about Burnt Umber And Ultramarine
