About this artwork
A rugged butte rises against the sky in Norman Bluhm's Butte. This artwork captures the raw beauty of a solitary landform, standing tall and unyielding. The painting's title reflects the stark simplicity of its subject.
Bluhm's energetic brushstrokes and bold use of color create a sense of movement and life. The butte, rendered in earthy tones, contrasts with the vivid blues and whites of the sky. The interplay of light and shadow adds depth, making the scene almost tangible.
This poster brings a piece of the wild, untamed landscape into your home. It's ideal for a study or a living room with natural light.
