About this artwork
A clock face floats against a muted background in Philip Guston's Clock. The hands are frozen in time, suspended in a moment of quiet reflection. The artwork's simplicity draws the viewer into a contemplative state, where the passage of time becomes palpable.
The clock, rendered in soft pinks and grays, stands out against the textured backdrop. The brushstrokes are visible, adding a sense of depth and dimension to the piece. The overall effect is one of stillness, as if time itself has paused to allow for introspection.
This poster fits seamlessly into a study or library, where the contemplation of time and knowledge intersect.
