About this artwork
A vertical cascade of black shapes anchors this artwork, Luis Feito's Composition. The forms seem to float, suspended in a field of white space. The contrast between the dark shapes and the stark background creates a sense of depth and movement, as if the shapes are drifting slowly downward.
The black shapes vary in size and form, some angular and sharp, others more rounded and organic. Their arrangement is loose and fluid, yet there is a clear vertical axis that guides the eye through the composition. The white space is not empty but active, pushing against the black forms and defining their edges.
This poster brings focus to a quiet corner, a hallway, or a reading nook where contemplation is welcome.
