About this artwork
A storm of raw energy takes form in Milton Resnick's Composition. This 1963 work doesn't just hang on the wall, it commands the space around it, pulling the viewer into its turbulent depths.
The canvas is a battlefield of texture where thick, heavy layers of paint build upon one another. Earthy tones of ochre and umber clash with hints of cobalt, creating a sense of controlled chaos. The surface is a landscape of peaks and valleys, each stroke a testament to the artist's physical engagement with his medium.
This is a piece that demands attention, making it ideal for a spacious living area or a study where its intensity can be fully appreciated.
