About this artwork
Black shapes tumble across a textured field in Luis Feito's Composition I. The artwork balances spontaneity and control, with forms that seem both accidental and deliberate.
The composition is grounded by a central black mass, while smaller shapes scatter like fragments. A muted palette of ochre, umber, and ivory softens the stark black, creating a contrast that feels both ancient and modern. The surface texture adds depth, making the flat plane seem almost tactile.
This poster brings a meditative presence to a study or hallway, where its quiet energy can be appreciated up close.
