About this artwork
A river of color cuts through the canvas in Paul Jenkins' Continental Divide. This artwork is a study in fluid dynamics, where pigment behaves like water carving through stone, creating a visual journey that feels both ancient and immediate. The painting presents a central divide, with cascading hues of cobalt, emerald, and ochre. The colors blend and separate in a delicate dance, their edges soft yet distinct. The background, a muted field of cream, allows the central flow to command attention, while subtle textural variations add depth and complexity. This poster brings a sense of natural drama to a study or reading nook, where its flowing lines can complement quiet reflection.Questions about Continental Divide
