About this artwork
A white square takes center stage in Convention. This is Robert Ryman's exploration of minimalism, where simplicity speaks volumes and the absence of color becomes the focal point.
The texture of the surface reveals the artist's hand, with visible brushstrokes and subtle variations in the white paint. The square is not perfect, its edges slightly uneven, adding a human touch to the geometric form. The background, a lighter shade of white, provides a gentle contrast, allowing the square to stand out without competition.
This poster suits a quiet study or a modern office, where its understated presence can be appreciated in moments of contemplation.
