About this artwork
Fractured planes of white and ochre unfold in Lee Krasner's Cool White. The artwork is a study in contrast, where the starkness of white meets the warmth of earthy tones, creating a dynamic interplay that commands attention. The composition is a mosaic of sharp, angular forms, each segment contributing to a larger sense of movement and energy. Krasner's use of color is restrained yet impactful, with the ochre providing a subtle but persistent counterpoint to the dominant white. The overall effect is one of controlled intensity, a visual rhythm that pulses across the canvas. This poster brings a sense of modernist rigor to any room, its geometric abstraction lending an air of intellectual curiosity to a home office or study.Questions about Cool White
