About this artwork
A crayon box and its contents spill across the canvas in Crayola. This 1973 photorealist painting by Audrey Flack is a playful homage to childhood creativity.
The artwork presents a vivid array of crayons, their wrappers partially peeled back to reveal the colors within. The crayons are scattered in a seemingly random pattern, with some pointing upwards and others lying flat. The background is a stark white, which contrasts with the bright colors of the crayons and makes them stand out.
This poster brings a touch of nostalgia to any space, making it ideal for a child's room or a creative studio.
