About this artwork
Geometric forms float across the canvas in Sam Gilliam’s Cubes. This artwork presents a dynamic interplay of shape and color, where structure meets spontaneity in a visually compelling composition.
The piece juxtaposes bold, angular shapes with softer, layered hues. Cobalt blues and earthy ochres dominate, punctuated by sharp lines and overlapping planes. The interplay of color and form creates a sense of movement, as if the cubes are suspended in mid-air, shifting and rearranging before the viewer’s eyes.
This poster brings a modern edge to minimalist spaces, where its geometric precision can stand out against clean lines and open areas.
