About this artwork

Two geometric ashtrays overlap in this composition by Bruno Munari. Double Ashtray Model No. 205a Cipro is a study in functional design, where form meets utility in a playful dance of angles and curves. The artwork features a muted palette of grays and blues, with the ashtrays rendered in a way that suggests depth and dimension. The design is both simple and complex, with the overlapping shapes creating a sense of movement and interaction. The precision of the lines and the careful balance of the composition reflect Munari's keen eye for design. This poster would fit well in a modern kitchen or a study, where its geometric forms and muted tones can complement contemporary decor.
