About this artwork
Twelve eggs rest in a cardboard crate. Mary Pratt's *Eggs In An Egg Crate* turns the ordinary into something extraordinary, revealing beauty in the everyday.
The eggs, rendered in soft whites and gentle browns, sit snugly in their crate. Pratt's realistic style captures the delicate texture of the eggshells and the rough, fibrous surface of the cardboard. Light plays across the scene, casting subtle shadows that add depth and dimension.
This poster brings a quiet, contemplative presence to a kitchen or breakfast nook, inviting viewers to find wonder in the simple things.
