About this artwork
A foot in a boat drifts across a muted sea. This is Antoni Tapies' El Pa A La Barca, a quiet meditation on solitude and stillness. The artwork's simplicity draws you in, inviting contemplation.
The boat, rendered in soft grays, floats on a sea of textured neutrals. Tapies' signature rough surfaces and muted palette create a sense of calm. The foot, disconnected from its owner, adds an element of intrigue, sparking curiosity about the story behind the image.
This print fits seamlessly into a study or quiet corner. It invites pause and reflection, making it ideal for spaces dedicated to thought and introspection.
