About this artwork
Rectangles float in a delicate balance. Hans Hofmann's *Equipoise* suspends geometric forms in a state of visual harmony. The composition feels both spontaneous and meticulously arranged. The background hums with a muted palette of ochres and umbers, allowing the sharp-edged rectangles to command attention. Their placement is precise, yet the overall effect is one of effortless equilibrium. Hofmann's mastery of space and form creates a push-and-pull dynamic that engages the viewer. This poster brings a sense of calm focus to a study or office, where its quiet energy can be fully appreciated.Questions about Equipoise
