About this artwork
A metallic escalator ascends in this urban scene. Richard Estes' Escalator captures a moment of stillness within the bustling cityscape, with reflective surfaces and sharp lines defining the composition. The artwork presents a play of light and shadow, where the gleam of chrome and glass contrasts with the muted tones of the surrounding architecture. The precision of the reflections and the clarity of the details create a sense of depth and realism, drawing the viewer into the scene. This poster brings a slice of city life to any room, its modern aesthetic complementing contemporary spaces with ease.Questions about Escalator
