About this artwork
A bouquet of flowers blooms across the canvas in this 1953 work by Nicolas de Stael. The painting, titled 'Flowers,' is a celebration of nature's beauty, rendered in the artist's distinctive style that bridges abstraction and representation.
Thick, expressive brushstrokes build the floral forms, their petals a mix of soft whites, warm yellows, and gentle blues. The background, a muted blend of greens and browns, provides a natural setting that allows the flowers to stand out. The texture of the paint adds depth, creating a sense of dimension and life.
This poster brings a touch of nature's charm to any room, fitting seamlessly into spaces that appreciate the beauty of the natural world.
