About this artwork
A dense forest emerges in layers of color and texture. Jean-Paul Riopelle’s Forestine presents a world where trees and foliage dissolve into abstract energy. The deeper you look, the more the forest reveals itself. Riopelle’s signature mosaic technique builds depth through thick impasto strokes. Cobalt blues and emerald greens dominate, fractured by flecks of ochre and crimson. The composition feels alive, as if the forest is still growing before your eyes, shifting with each glance. This poster brings the wild beauty of nature indoors, ideal for spaces that crave organic energy without sacrificing modern sophistication.Questions about Foresteine
