About this artwork
Geraniums in full bloom dominate this artwork. Odilon Redon’s Geraniums is a celebration of nature’s quiet beauty, rendered in soft hues and delicate brushwork.
The flowers rise from a simple terracotta pot, their green leaves a lush backdrop to the bright blossoms. Redon’s use of light creates a sense of depth, while the muted background ensures the geraniums remain the focal point. The composition is balanced, yet dynamic, with each petal and leaf contributing to the overall harmony.
This print brings a sense of calm to any room, ideal for a study or bedroom where its gentle colors can be appreciated.
