About this artwork

A ladder ascends into a golden haze in Alice Baber's Golden Center In The Ladder. The painting draws the eye upward, where a radiant glow awaits at the top of the ladder, suggesting a journey toward something luminous and unknown. The composition is a study in contrast, with the stark verticality of the ladder set against the soft, diffused background. The golden center is not merely a color but a light source, casting an ethereal glow that permeates the entire scene. The simplicity of the elements belies the complexity of the emotions it evokes. This poster brings a sense of intrigue and warmth to a study or hallway, where its vertical lines and golden hue can complement both modern and traditional decor.
