About this artwork
Sweeping arcs of green dance across a white canvas. This is Green Curves From The Series Line Form Color, a study in simplicity and form by Ellsworth Kelly. The painting's title describes its content with precision, leaving nothing to interpretation.
The composition is minimal yet dynamic, with the curves creating a sense of movement and rhythm. The green is flat and unmodulated, a single hue that defines the shapes. The white background is not merely empty space but an active part of the composition, shaping the negative space between the curves.
This poster brings a sense of calm and order to a room. It works well in a modern living space, where its clean lines and limited palette can stand out without overwhelming.
