About this artwork
A single black shape on a cream background, Hasard is a study in simplicity. The artwork's title suggests chance, yet the form feels deliberate, almost weightless against the unblemished field. Jean Arp's signature appears in the lower right, grounding the composition in quiet confidence.
The organic shape could be a leaf, a seed, or something entirely unnameable. Its edges curve unpredictably, creating a sense of movement within stillness. The contrast between the dark form and light background enhances its presence, making it appear both flat and dimensional.
This print suits a minimalist space where its quiet presence can be appreciated. It invites contemplation without demanding attention.
