About this artwork
A white house stands boldly against a muted landscape in Johannes Itten's Haus Des Weissen Mannes. The stark geometry of the house contrasts with the softer, almost hazy surroundings, creating a focal point that draws the eye. The composition is a study in contrast, with the white of the house set against the earthy tones of the landscape. The house itself is a series of rectangular forms, stacked and arranged in a way that suggests both stability and dynamism. The background, though subdued, provides a textured backdrop that enhances the prominence of the house. This poster suits a modern living room or a contemporary office space, where its geometric simplicity and contrast can be appreciated.Questions about Haus Des Weissen Mannes
