About this artwork
A human head emerges from the canvas in this Antoni Tapies artwork. Titled 'Head', the piece draws you in with its raw, expressive power.
Scratched surfaces and muted tones dominate the composition. The texture is almost tangible, as if the paint itself has been etched and carved. Earthy hues of brown and ochre create a sense of depth and history, while the rough, tactile surface invites closer inspection.
This poster suits spaces where contemplation and introspection are valued. It fits seamlessly into a study or library, adding depth.
