About this artwork
A heart, glowing in gold, takes center stage in Damien Hirst's I Love You (gold, Loganberry). It's a simple yet profound symbol, rendered in the artist's signature style. The piece is a celebration of love, a universal emotion that transcends language and culture.
The heart, a universal symbol of love and affection, is composed of countless tiny dots, a technique reminiscent of pointillism. The gold leaf background shimmers, creating a sense of depth and dimension. The loganberry hue adds a touch of warmth, making the piece feel inviting and intimate.
