About this artwork
A single letter T stands boldly in the frame. This is Initial T, a study in contrast and precision by M.C. Escher. The artist’s signature style transforms a simple character into a labyrinth of shadows and light. The letter’s form is built from stark blacks and whites, creating an interplay of positive and negative space. Escher’s meticulous crosshatching gives the piece depth, making the flat surface seem almost three-dimensional. The symmetry and balance are classic Escher, inviting closer inspection. This print fits seamlessly into a modern study or a minimalist office. It’s a conversation starter for spaces dedicated to thought and creativity.Questions about Initial T
