About this artwork
Above a modern sofa, La Ricerca Del Colore would hold its own. This Dadamaino work doesn't shout for attention, but it commands it. The composition is a study in contrasts: sharp geometric divisions against soft color transitions. A grid of squares contains bands of ochre, cobalt, and burnt sienna. Each hue is both distinct and part of a whole, like notes in a carefully arranged chord. The precision of the lines suggests calculation, but the colors feel intuitive. This poster would suit a living room with clean lines and natural light, where the colors can shift with the day.Questions about La Ricerca Del Colore
