About this artwork
A dense winter forest emerges in L'hiver Dans Les Bois. Charles Lapicque's work pulls you into a quiet, frosty wood where the trees stand tall and silent. The branches, heavy with snow, create a lattice of white against the muted colors of the winter landscape. The foreground is a complex web of bare branches, their intricate patterns drawing the eye. Beyond the thicket, the background opens to softer, blurred forms, suggesting depth and distance. Lapicque's use of cool blues and whites captures the chill of winter, while the subtle hints of brown and gray ground the scene in realism. This poster brings a sense of calm and introspection, ideal for a study or reading nook where quiet contemplation is valued.Questions about L'hiver Dans Les Bois
