About this artwork
A grid of colored dots forms the face of Memento 4. Damien Hirst's work plays with perception, where individual circles coalesce into a recognizable image from a distance. Up close, the precision of each dot becomes apparent, revealing a spectrum of colors meticulously arranged to create shadows and highlights across the face.
The background is a stark white, providing a contrast that makes the colored dots stand out even more. The face itself is serene, almost contemplative, adding a layer of depth to the piece that goes beyond its initial visual impact.
This poster fits seamlessly into a modern living room or a study, where its intricate details can be appreciated up close.
