About this artwork
Snow-capped peaks rise against a pale sky in Lawren Harris's Mountain Forms. This artwork presents a landscape that feels both austere and alive, where the mountains dominate the scene with their quiet grandeur. The foreground is a sea of peaks, their white surfaces sculpted by unseen winds. Harris uses a palette of whites, soft blues, and touches of grey to create a sense of depth and distance. The sky, a light blue gradient, stretches above, its vastness only interrupted by the towering forms below. This poster brings a sense of calm and contemplation to a study or reading nook, where its quiet beauty can be fully appreciated.Questions about Mountain Forms
