About this artwork
A white rectangle floats above a red one, both set against a yellow field. This is Mark Rothko's No. 13 (White, Red on Yellow), a study in balance and tension. The composition is deceptively simple, yet it holds a quiet power that draws the viewer in.
The white rectangle seems to hover, its edges softly defined. Below, the red rectangle grounds the composition, its color muted yet insistent. The yellow background is not merely a backdrop but an active participant, its warmth influencing the mood. The interplay of these elements creates a sense of harmony and contrast, a delicate dance of color and form.
This poster brings a sense of calm and contemplation to a study or bedroom.
