About this artwork
Ragged edges of white and ochre collide in Noon. This is Lee Krasner at her most raw, where the canvas becomes a battleground of color and form. The artwork feels alive, as if the paint itself is still moving, still fighting for space. The composition is a push and pull of light and dark, with jagged lines cutting through the softer, more muted tones. There's a sense of urgency in the brushstrokes, a feeling that the artist was racing against time to get every mark just right. The result is a piece that feels both chaotic and controlled, wild yet deliberate. This poster brings energy to a quiet corner, a study, or a hallway where its complexity can be appreciated up close.Questions about Noon
