About this artwork
A lattice of geometric shapes dominates this composition. Ad Reinhardt's Number 6 is a study in contrast and form, where the interplay of shapes creates a visual rhythm that draws the eye across the canvas.
The artwork is composed of overlapping rectangles in varying shades of red and blue. The precise arrangement of these shapes creates a sense of depth and movement, while the limited color palette adds to the overall harmony of the piece. The careful balance of elements reflects Reinhardt's meticulous approach to abstract art.
This poster brings focus to a study or library. The restrained palette and geometric forms complement a space dedicated to thought and reflection.
