About this artwork
Cobalt and cadmium red dominate this print, a signature palette for James Rosenquist. Off The Continental Divide invites you into a world where color reigns supreme, and the ordinary becomes extraordinary.
A woman's hand emerges from the left, holding a lipstick as if it were a scepter. The background is a fragmented landscape of desert hues and sky blues, punctuated by bold strokes of red. The composition is both chaotic and controlled, a hallmark of Rosenquist's style.
This poster brings a sense of adventure to any room, perfect for those who appreciate art that tells a story.
