About this artwork
A square of white paint anchors the canvas. In Robert Ryman's Pace, simplicity becomes a study in texture and depth. The subtle variations in the paint's surface draw the eye, revealing a world within the white.
The brushstrokes, though minimal, are deliberate and varied. They create a rhythm across the square, a quiet conversation between the artist's hand and the medium. The white is not uniform but alive with subtle shifts in tone and application.
This poster finds its place in a study or a quiet corner, where its understated presence invites contemplation.
