About this artwork
A cluster of rectangular forms dominates the composition. Pastel Statement, created by Robert Goodnough in 1971, is a study in geometric abstraction. The forms overlap and interact, creating a sense of depth and dynamism.
The artwork employs a palette of soft pastel hues, with subtle variations in tone. The rectangular forms are arranged in a seemingly random pattern, yet there is a underlying order to their placement. The artist's use of color and form creates a visual rhythm that draws the eye across the composition.
This art print would suit a modern living room or a contemporary office space.
