About this artwork
A vertical slit cuts through the center of Lenore Tawney's Path II, dividing the composition into two symmetrical halves. The artwork, a study in contrast, draws the eye inward with its stark simplicity.
The neutral background is interrupted only by the central opening and delicate threads that float across the surface. These threads, though sparse, create a sense of depth and movement. The overall effect is one of quiet contemplation, a moment frozen in time.
This understated yet powerful piece fits seamlessly into a minimalist living space or a modern office. It invites closer inspection without demanding attention.
