About this artwork
A golden hourglass glows beneath a radiant sunburst. Paul Jenkins' Phenomena Sun Over The Hour Glass balances warmth and light with an almost architectural precision. The composition feels both spontaneous and deliberate, as if capturing a fleeting moment of solar drama.
The upper half of the canvas erupts in a luminous fan of yellows and whites, while the lower half anchors the composition with a symmetrical hourglass form. Delicate veins of crimson and ochre bleed into the golden field, adding depth and movement. The interplay between the organic flow of color and the structured hourglass creates a compelling tension.
This print brings a meditative focal point to a study or reading nook.
