About this artwork
A dark sky looms over a desolate landscape in Forrest Bess' Prophecy. The painting's title hints at something beyond the visible, inviting contemplation of what lies beneath the surface of the stark and somber scene. The artwork is dominated by a muted palette of earthy tones, with subtle hints of color peeking through the gloom. A single figure stands in the distance, adding a sense of scale and solitude to the scene. The brushstrokes are loose and expressive, conveying a sense of movement and emotion. This poster brings a sense of quiet introspection to a study or library.Questions about Prophecy
