About this artwork
A single rectangle of unmodulated color fills the canvas. This is Red-Orange From The Suite Of Twenty-seven Color Lithographs by Ellsworth Kelly, a study in simplicity and depth. The artwork's power lies in its straightforward presentation, offering nothing but the color itself.
The flat expanse of red-orange dominates the composition, its edges sharply defined. There is no texture, no variation, no additional elements to distract the eye. The color is both the subject and the object, inviting contemplation of its hue and the emotions it may stir.
This poster suits a space where boldness is appreciated, where a single note of color can stand alone and be admired.
