About this artwork
Two boats float on a river in Wayne Thiebaud's River Boats. This artwork is a departure from his well-known pastries, but the same care and attention to detail is evident in every brushstroke.
The boats, painted in soft hues of blue and green, sit gently on the water. The river itself is a light blue, reflecting the sky above. The background is a muted landscape, allowing the boats to take center stage. Thiebaud's signature use of light and shadow is present, adding depth and dimension to the scene.
This poster brings a sense of calm and tranquility to any space. It works well in a bedroom or living room, adding a touch of serenity to your walls.
