About this artwork
A cascade of dollar bills spills across the canvas in Roll Of Bills. This Warhol creation turns currency into a repeating motif, blurring the line between art and commerce. The green and black palette dominates, with each bill slightly offset from the next, creating a rhythmic visual pulse that draws the eye downward.
The artwork plays with repetition and pattern, themes central to Warhol's oeuvre. The dollar bills, rendered in varying shades of green and black, overlap in places, creating a sense of depth and movement. The stark white background serves to highlight the bills, making them appear as if they are floating in space.
This poster suits a study or office, where its commentary on money and value can spark conversation. It's a bold choice for those who appreciate art that challenges as much as it decorates.
