About this artwork
A black and white photograph of a man and woman in an embrace is the central image of Should Love Come First. This early Rauschenberg combines photography with abstract expressionism, creating a piece that is both personal and universal in its appeal. The artwork features a collage of images and text, with the photograph of the couple being the most prominent. The background is a mix of abstract brushstrokes and text, adding depth and complexity to the piece. The contrast between the black and white photograph and the colorful background creates a dynamic visual tension. This poster would be well-suited for a living room or bedroom, where its emotional resonance and artistic depth can be fully appreciated.Questions about Should Love Come First
